Upward Hope Celebrates Sucess
TEA Accountability Ratings are available for review.
Marquis Anderson, 17, began attending Upward Hope Academy in October when his family moved from San Antonio. His former school didn't transfer some materials, so Anderson, a sophmore, would have had to begin at Ball High School as a freshman, he said. "I felt like I was a good student, but I didn't feel like I was getting the attention I needed from teachers,"Anderson said."I feel like I'm getting more help and attention I need to pass my classes. It's a much better environment." He will receive his high school diploma Saturday.
